To End All Wars

“It is my belief that nothing tells the true reality of war better than the simple writings of the common soldier.” Lorna Knight

To End All Wars: Letters from Canadians at War, 1914 - 2014

November 11, at the Community Gallery of the Artscape Wychwood Barns, Threshold organized a reading by community members of  selected letters from Canadians involved in various wars including World War 1, the Spanish Civil War, World War 2, the Korean War, and the war in Afghanistan.

To End All Wars, is planned as an event to be held every year on Nov. 11th as part of Lunation,  to acknowledge the experience of soldiers and others, who have participated in, or been affected by various wars in different parts of the world.  We hope that greater awareness of the terrible effects of war helps to promote peace.  If you would like to participate as a reader or storyteller in our 2018 event  please contact us at thresholdtheatre22@gmail.com
