Truth to Power

 

This is a project which features the following elements:

 

•  It is inspired by the theme of speaking 'truth to power'

 

•  It consists of a series of short pieces created by both artists and community members of diverse backgrounds and experiences

 

•  It encourages the exploration of a range of theatrical forms in addressing the theme

 

•  It takes place at various outdoor spaces in midwest Toronto where powerlines are located beginning with the parkettes along Geary Ave in the Dovercourt/Dufferin area. 

 

•  It culminates in a group presentation and community celebration in the St. Clair Gardens parkette near St. Clair West & Caledonia.
